I have had my Prius since Oct 12, 2004. Drove it to Twin Falls Idaho last summer with 51 MPG! Proved to my brother it could race over the Sierras from Sacramento no sweat at 65 MPH! I love it, and even after a crash by an unlicensed driver, it was like new again and still doing great!
February, 2009 Update: I still love driving my Prius and even with two accidents, it performs like new. I get from 48 to 51 MPG and it hasn't needed any major repairs. Just the regular 5,000-mile maintenance intervals. I intend to look at and purchase a 2010 some time this year. What a dependable car. I haven't even had a battery issue!
