We're mostly city drivers, with lots of residential
stop and go, so when the Honda Civic Hybrid came out
in April 2002, I was anxious to see if it would
improve our poor mileage. Boy did it - from 15 to 40
mpg. We were hooked. My wife got her own HCH in 2004
and when my daughter needed a car, I gave her my
original HCH and got a new Prius. We buy gas every 3-4
weeks, and we're lovin' it. One thing's for sure, once
you try a hybrid, there's no going back.
