I'm concerned about the Earth my grandchildren will inherit as well as the air they presently breath. As Director of Product Development for a skin care lab, I make it a point to develop environmentally friendly skin care products. I also believe that as long as we're dependent on foreign oil we'll be forced to make foreign policy decisions based on that need and not on what is right. These beliefs made me realize that when purchasing a car 3 years ago, and could have afforded a luxury sports car, such as the Porche Boxster, or a sporty Jag, there were really only 2 right choices: the Toyota Prius or the Honda Insight. Since I love small, sporty cars I chose the Insight and I've not had one moment of regret. It's fun to drive --- and can keep up with any car on the road. The only disadvantage (apart from the fact that it is not a luxury vehicle with all the bells and whistles) is the huge amount of attention it receives. I am constantly answering questions and receiving compliments about it, - it even receive special attention from the valet parking guys. They always comment about getting a chance to drive such a great looking, unusual car -- this from folks who park status cars such as Jags and Ferraris.
